Walkie plans and limits
Walkie has a free plan and three paid plans. On-Device Mode dictation is unlimited and free forever on every plan. Free adds 2,000 Cloud Mode words a week, 10 minutes of Read Aloud a month, and a one-time 3-meeting trial. Pro is $7.50 a month, Work is $17.50, and Team is $34 per person who records. Paying annually saves at least 20%.
What is free forever
On-Device Mode dictation has no word cap, no time limit, and does not require an account. It is not a trial. If all you want is private, offline dictation, Walkie is free and stays free.

How meeting limits work
There are two meeting limits and you are held to whichever you reach first: a count of meetings, and a total of recorded hours. Both exist because one number alone is gameable — an all-day workshop is a single meeting, and thirty two-minute standups are thirty.
What happens when you hit a limit

Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
The Free plan is the trial, and it does not expire. Meetings additionally gets a one-time trial of three recordings so you can see what it produces before paying.
Do unused meetings or hours roll over?
No. Allowances reset each month.
Is Walkie priced per person or per device?
Per person. You can install Walkie on all of your own machines under one subscription.
