MCP

Your meetings, in your AI's memory

Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok what your meetings say — what was decided, who committed to what, what you promised. Answers are quoted from the transcript itself. Read-only, and switched off until you turn it on.

Walkie has two outputs: a local server and a remote endpoint. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI patch into the local server. ChatGPT, Grok patches into the remote endpoint.

Ask your tools what your meetings know

What did I promise the pilot team, and did I do it?

Searches every meeting mentioning the pilot, pulls the commitments out of the action items, and checks them against later conversations.

Summarise everything I've heard about pricing this month.

Finds each meeting where pricing came up and synthesises across all of them — not one summary at a time.

Draft the follow-up email for yesterday's interview.

Reads the transcript with speakers labeled, so the draft quotes what the candidate actually said rather than what you remember.

Who raised the concern about the migration, and what was it?

Speaker-labeled transcripts mean the answer names a person, not just a meeting.

What it can see, and what it can't

On your machine it reads every meeting you have recorded, including any you never synced. In the cloud it reads only what you have synced. Either way it answers questions rather than handing over an archive — and if you would rather your agent knew everything, that is a switch you flip, not a limit we decided for you.

It answers questions, it does not hand over your archive

By default an agent can search and read what it finds, but cannot list your archive or page past the first results — it answers questions rather than walking the corpus. Handing over everything is a separate switch in Walkie, off until you turn it on.

Read-only

Nothing an agent calls can delete a meeting, edit a transcript, change a setting, or share anything. The tools only read.

Off by default

Access ships switched off, per machine and per account. Cancelling or downgrading switches it back off rather than leaving it quietly running.

Two minutes to set up

Switch the server on in Walkie, point your agent at it, and ask a question. Requires Walkie Work or above, on a Mac. Still experimental, so the tools may change between releases.

Frequently asked questions

What is Walkie's MCP server?
A Model Context Protocol server that lets an AI agent search and read your recorded meetings. Walkie runs it locally for agents on your Mac like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI, and offers a remote HTTPS endpoint at mcp.trywalkie.com for hosted agents like ChatGPT and Grok.
Which AI tools can read my Walkie meetings?
Anything that speaks MCP. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI run on your Mac and read your meetings from disk. ChatGPT, Grok and other hosted agents connect over HTTPS to the meetings you have synced. Walkie's MCP is macOS-only today, because meetings recording is.
Does my meeting data leave my computer?
With the local server, no — the agent starts a process on your Mac that reads Walkie's database directly, and the content only leaves inside the conversation you are already having with your own agent. The remote endpoint is different: it answers from the meetings already synced to your Walkie account.
Does Walkie's MCP server cost extra?
No. It is included with Walkie Work and above — $17.50 a month, or $14 a month billed annually. Both the local server and the remote endpoint are covered.
Can an AI agent export or delete my meetings?
Nothing an agent calls can write, edit, share or delete — the tools are read-only. Reading is your choice of two postures: by default it can search and read what it finds but cannot enumerate your archive, and if you switch on full archive access in Walkie it can page through every meeting.
